Mobility in a European Post-Crisis Scenario: Law-Making Dynamics and Law-Enforcement Challenges

Security and mobility have become a seemingly inseparable concept in the recent European geopolitical landscape. While historically deeply rooted social, economic legal aspects of migration been extensively studied, current emphasis on emergency management, which has radically shaping law-making law-enforcement dynamics, rather underexplored. Taking stock challenges emerging view adjusting enforcement set-up at national levels to context emergency, this Special Issue pursues ambitious goal shedding light post-crisis controversial scenario Europe, characterised by political impasse over reform overall governance migration. Based neoliberal conceptual framework, multidisciplinary consideration human across borders questions whether crisis is really or sense projected onto future policy developments.
